OMG it's been so long!
I can't believe it, I haven't been here much since December - how disgraceful is that!! I've gotten so many favs and stuff - sorry I haven't thanked you all indiviually like I'd normally do, but there's just too much to catch up on, devs, journals, etc etc. And my subscription is just about to run out!! Oh noes - I shall have to change that!!

How's everyone been? Any news or gossip for me? What have I been missing?
I'm going away to Honduras for a month, very very soon - gosh I'm so excited! It'll be an experience, that's for sure. Gonna be doing an expedition, helping monitering wildlife populations and all that jazz. I had to get so many vaccinations (hepatits a, typhoid, tetanus, polio, rabies, and tablets for malaria)! Don't know how I'll cope being away from all my pets for a whole month though - I can barely manage being away from them even a week

I'm gonna be missing them, my family and all my friends lots.
Talking of my pets, my female leopard gecko, Randall, laid her first egg not so long ago. Unfortunately, it being her first egg, she laid it in the wrong place - right ontop of the heat mat. By the time I woke up and saw it it was already far too late....I did try and hope that it hadn't gotten too dehydrated but by the next day the egg had caved inwards, so I knew it was dead. Was sad, but at the same time, I felt so much love and pride towards my girl, my baby. She's truly amazing. Last week she laid another two eggs, this time in her laying box, and so they're still alive.
They're due to hatch though when I'm away

scared my lil sis won't know look after the eggs properly or something and kill the eggs!! That'd be a real bummer. And maybe Randall might lay more while I'm away, omg what do I do?! Oh and not only Randall....but my new cornsnake, a female amelanistic morph

yeah I have two male baby corns already, and recently aquired two adults (the female mentioned above and a male aneryistic). They were breeding, so much so that she's getting fed up so I gotta separate them shortly. So she may end up having eggs too, while I'm away!
I'll hopefully have plenty of excitement to come back too! All good with a bit of luck

On a totally different note, anyone seen Monsters vs Aliens? I love that movie so much! Keep going to see it - just the other day I went to see it with Ali

, that was fun! I told her I want Dr. Cockroach Ph.D for a pet!! He was just adorable, with those big bug eyes! He'll be next in my growing "zoo" (as my family call my ever growing collection of pets)!! People, help Ali fulfill my request!!

or just draw me lots of fanarts! That seems alot more plausible than bringing Dr. Cockroach to life and capturing him and keeping him in a cage.....but he would make an adorable pet!!

and how cool was the president?! Hahaha
Hmmm...I really should upload art soon, it's gathering up. Should put the new scanner up to the test!!

I used to draw quite a bit, but it just took so long to do, and I got impatient. Besides, I have no time this year to even think of sketching
So, till then I shall just wander DA having a look around
